Jerith’s roofing line breaks into three series, and the part you need depends on which was specified when your home was built or re-roofed. The Classic series uses a 1-inch snap-lock standing seam with proprietary clips that Jerith stamps with a “C-” prefix. The Signature series upgraded to a 1.5-inch mechanically seamed profile with heavier-gauge aluminum, marked “S-” on the clip flanges. The Estate series, less common in San Diego but present in several Del Mar and Rancho Santa Fe installs from the mid-2000s, uses a shingle-style interlock that requires a different rake and hip trim entirely.

To identify your series, check the underside of any loose ridge cap or the edge of a leftover clip if you have attic access. The part number is laser-etched, not stamped, and fades if handled roughly. • Visible waviness or oil-canning across flat panels. This is thermal expansion stress, common in San Diego east of I-5 where inland heat spikes contrast with cool mornings. The panel hasn’t failed yet, but the fastening pattern may be inadequate for the temperature swing.
