• Panels rattling in wind but posts are plumb. The nylon gaskets between rail and picket compress over time, especially in the dry heat east of I-15. The pickets aren’t failed; the gasket tolerance has just opened up.
• Chalky white residue on dark powder-coated surfaces. This is UV degradation of the topcoat, accelerated by reflected sunlight off light-colored hardscape. ViewLux warranties this for 10 years but requires documentation of the original purchase; we photograph the failure and help assemble the claim.
• Gate sagging or latch misalignment. ViewLux gates use a welded aluminum frame that doesn’t warp, so sag is almost always hinge bolt loosening in the post or settlement of the gate post itself. We check with a 4-foot level before quoting; sometimes it’s a 20-minute adjustment, sometimes the post needs re-setting.
